HA BD12
The Highways Agency BD12 Specification was developed specifically as a code of practice for structural design and installation of “Buried Metal Structures” and has become the industry standard. Atlantic CSP uses the software programme developed from BD12, to define material gauge and profile to give the required design life for your specific conditions. Atlantic's technical services will supply you structural calculations as part of our design and manufacturing warranty.
The BD12 Code still remains the definitive model for installing and calculating structural performance of CSP systems; it is on this basis that all Atlantic products have been evaluated. When we provide you with structural calculations, you can rest assured that under our New BBA Certificate, they are applicable to the whole system and not just the pipe. Your guarantee is that we can predict the performance of the whole structure and provide you with warranted design under any installation criteria.
