Plot 3500 of the AMEC Developments at Cheadle Royal, constructed by G&J Seddon Ltd of Bolton, completes the fifth tank to be installed on this prestigious project; previous phases were carried out by Brown Construction and AMEC construction. Tanks of 2200mm, 2500mm, 1400mm and 1200mm were used to attenuation over 1000 m3. All tanks that were designed originally have offline systems, but integration of the flow control device into the tank, saved the cost of external downstream manholes. The Engineering Practice of Integra Consulting were able to utilise the design support of Atlantic.
