Atlantic CSP

For Choosing Atlantic yet again; Weldon Plant Ltd of Corby, Northants have chosen Atlantic to support them on yet another “interesting” project. Part of The Celanese production site at Raynesway, Spondon Derby, is currently under re-development; acquired by Goodman (formerly Rosemound), this 50 Hectare site is proposed for re-generation into new commercial properties.

As part of the re-development an open concrete channel (reported to be nearly 100 yrs old) which carries treated waste water from the Celanese factory to the river Derwent, was to be diverted by the use of a twin x 300mtr x 1400mm dia Atlantic CSP culvert. The alternative product to the Atlantic CSP would have been a PCC Box culvert which would have been a far more difficult and costly solution.
As part of the Sec 278 wks at the Raynesway Development, Weldon Plant have also installed 30 No x 1500mm dia Atlantic Culverts (side by side) under the main carriageway as part of flood prevention measures.

This is just one of many projects completed by Weldon Plant Ltd using Atlantic CSP, others include: Max Park- Corby, The Green – Solihull and Grange Pk- Northampton.
