Atlantic in Pole Position to Service Mercedes Benz

Atlantic are proud to have been part of a recent development at the new Mercedes Benz Racing Team Research Centre, thanks to Morgan Professional Services, Ove Arup and Mainland Contractors of Kettering.

The task was to design and install a cost effective service tunnel to carry a full compliment of services between the two research labs. The 80mtr, 2.8mtr dia CSP tunnel had changes in the vertical and horizontal direction, having the added restriction of tying in to two fixed, (already constructed) end structures.

It was a tight squeeze, but together with Atlantic’s precision dimensions and Mainland’s care during installation we “tunneled” our way out of trouble.
